Summer School started today with a wonderful watercolour workshop - line and wash drystone walls!

Such an iconic feature of our local landscape - the Cotswolds wouldn’t be the Cotswolds without them. A traditional wall building technique that’s been passed down for generations, although I love the ‘fally-down’ ones, these walls are also a haven for mosses, lichens, reptiles and other tiny creatures.

Everyone produced beautiful work today I think you’ll agree? Well done 👏 fantastic first day. More fun tomorrow! 🎨 ✍🏻
