FAQs
Where can I book a class
I am a complete Beginner - is that OK?
Yes of course! My classes are perfect for you. I’ll be on hand to help you whenever you need it and all of my classes have a friendly, relaxed atmosphere to put you at your ease. I believe that art is for everyone.
What is included in the course?
I provide all materials, paper, drawing boards and refreshments (for the daytime classes). Sometimes I may ask you to bring along something to draw or paint. I often provide photo reference for you to work from. I do recommend having a few basic materials at home to keep up with your drawing and painting at home but it isn’t essential.
Can I buy a class as a gift?
The classes and workshops make great presents. You can buy and checkout as normal. Just let me know the name of the person attending the class in the ‘Leave Gemma a Message’ box on the booking form.
What is your refund policy if I cannot make a class or course?
If you are unable to attend please let me know 48 hours before the start of the course or event and you can be refunded. After this time, refunds are not possible.
Are classes transferable?
Classes are not transferable to other dates and you cannot ‘carry over’ classes to the next term. If you are ill or are going to be away I can send you details of what we covered in class if you wish. If you are going to be missing a few weeks of the term you can contact me to discuss your options to pay ‘pro rata’. The life classes are drop in so you do not need to pay for an entire term.
I have a disability. Can I still attend your classes?
All of the venues I use have disabled access. Please let me know of any health problems or disabilities that will affect your studies and I will do my best to make the class accessible for you.
